A: Simply Wed Ceremony is a 30-minute, all-inclusive mini wedding experience designed for couples who want a simple, stylish way to get married without all the fuss. You choose a time slot, show up dressed and ready, and we handle the rest—including the ceremony, officiating, coordination, and professional photos.

 

Q: Where does the ceremony take place?

A: The August 23rd event will take place at the Botanical Gardens in Williamsburg, VA. The exact location and parking info will be shared once your booking is confirmed.

 

Q: What’s included in the $395 price?

A:

  • A private 30-minute ceremony slot

  • A licensed officiant (that's me)

  • A mini professional photo session by Pozan Productions with 5 edited images

  • Ceremony planning and coordination by Simply Grand Events 

  • A keepsake marriage certificate

 

Q: Can we bring guests?

A: Simply Wed is designed for couples who want a quiet, intimate moment. You're welcome to bring up to 2 guests as witnesses or supporters. If you need space for more, let’s talk about a custom option.

 

Q: Can we write our own vows?

A: Absolutely! You can either write your own, choose from a few pre-written options, or just repeat traditional vows. This is your moment—make it feel right for you.

 

Q: What should we wear?

A: Whatever makes you feel amazing. Most couples come dressed in wedding-day outfits or coordinated looks. There is no changing space on-site, so please arrive ready to walk down the aisle.

 

Q: How do we get our marriage license?

A: You’ll need to obtain a Virginia marriage license from any Virginia Circuit Court before the ceremony. Don’t worry—I'll send you a quick guide when you book.

 

Q: What if it rains?

A: The mini ceremonies will take place inside a beautifully decorated space with an option to move outdoors for a portion of your professional photos. I’ll keep you informed and make sure the experience is smooth no matter what.

 

Q: Can we add extra photos, flowers, or a toast?

A: Yes! I offer a few optional upgrades like:

  • Additional edited images

  • A custom bouquet and boutonniere

  • Mini cake and bubbly toast setup
